Do NOT trade in with MPB
Think twice before you do trade-in with this company. Sent a DSLR to them for trade-in. They deducted the trade-in quote for battery and charger not included. Contacted the customer service if I can send the battery and charger for a supplemental quote. No one responded yet. Now I got the point. They actively bet you would not include the accessories (which is common for trading-in used items) and deduct the quote to increase their margin, which is outrageous.

Simple and quick
As a novice in the photography scene finding the right equipment was a bit difficult. A friend turned me onto MPB, a site he himself uses, and showed me what to look for. The website was easy to navigate, the descriptions of the items, along with shutter counts, wear and any additional items made for very easy choice. The products arrived in a matter of days, all neatly packed with care. Overall, a great experience from them.
tried to scam me out of 100 euros
so i sent alot of gear to this company.. but they tried to scam me out for 100euro for parts missing. this was in relation to a atomos 4k display. beware. they dont know much about the products in Hien sight, as they seem to have missed half of the gear from the box.

40+ Days and Waiting
I sent in a camera body which was signed for by the warehouse over 40 days ago. I've received no updates on the process. Replies from customer service were first about delays because they are busy. More recently I've received apologies, and assurances they've "reached out" to the warehouse and have "looped in" a supervisor. No reply from them in a week. At this point, I can only assume they have lost the camera. I'm reasonable, at this point just admit it's been lost, make me an offer, and let's move on.

Questionable return/ refund protocol
It’s been close to 2 months since I’ve successfully returned my lens and I’ve yet to receive my refund. Many reach outs later and all they’ve been able to do is apologize for the delay.

The reliable Go to Photographic Kit suppliers
Changing over from a Crop sensor to a full frame camera meant a change in many of my lenses. MPB was my go to for fair trade in prices and swift delivery of my replacements. Excellent service.
Sold a lense
Sold a lense which I had replaced with an upgrade, although they agreed with the condition, there was very light dust inside so the quote was reduced by a small amount (£5). Once I agreed the payment appeared in my account quickly. Would definitely recommend MPB.
MPB said sorry, we’re good!
MPB said I hadn’t included lens hood with lens I sent them. After several emails and frustration I left a low score review for them. The same day that I left poor review I got an email saying they had found the missing lens hood! They offered me a discount on future purchase by way of an apology. I appreciate things can go wrong in any transaction, but it’s how issues are dealt with that makes for good service. A learning curve for them and me maybe!

I looked around for quotes for selling my camera and lens. I thought that MPB gave a fair price and so I decided to go ahead with the sale. The items were dropped off at a DPD point on Thursday, delivered to MPB on Friday morning and paid by Tuesday lunchtime. I even got more for an extra battery I didn’t realise I had.
Excellent service, I would use again if I wanted to buy or sell in the future.
